Logan County Road Trip

A Warren Pony in Logan County SFN 4639251

I visited 11 bridge sites in Logan County today (plus the Bickham Covered Bridge). Found a mix of abandoned, replaced and in-service bridges. All were pony trusses; nothing real spectacular! Perhaps the most interesting is SFN 4641604, which is abandoned on closed TH 122 at its intersect with TR 26. The bridge is readily viewable. It has no deck, is overgrown with plants and is in very bad shape. Nevertheless it displays a recent "Weight Limit" sign (see my Bridge Blog for more photos).

The Bickham CB is "in service" near Indian Lake. It's getting rare to see covered bridges actually in use on a busy road.
