Greene County Visit

We visited Greene County yesterday to plan the OHBA Fall Bridge Tour. Finally got to photograph the twin bowstrings at Oldtown Park. Here is a shot of the south bridge truss. Check out the bridge list for more information. The good news is that these bridges, which are on private parallel driveways are easily assessible from the public Oldtown County Park. Just go to the east side of the park, which runs right up to Oldtown Creek to see both bridges.

We also found an old Pratt pony on another private driveway off Stevenson road near the Stevenson Covered Bridge and SFN 2936666 elsewhere in the county. The latter is dated 1945 by OHBI (so I didn't have it) but it's a Warren riveted (standard) Pony that looks older (20's) so I added it to my list because of the questionable date.
