Rocky Fork Bridge

Miriam Wood alerted me to this abandoned bowstring bridge in Highland County. It proved difficult to photograph because of the usual heavy overgrowth. Don found it before it was hidden by spring foliage and took this excellent photo. It looks in good condition despite the absence of a wood deck. Reminds me of the Mill Road bridge in Knox County, which was also built by the Wrought Iron Bridge Co. and is in similar condition.
